Delphine Helen Gawrychowski, 81 of Sterling Heights passed away on Saturday September 9, 2017. Born on July 31, 1936 in Detroit to Joseph and Eleanor Kryza. Wife for 56 years to the late Edward Gawrychowski.

Survived by her son Thomas Gawrychowski, Grandchildren; John, Jamie and Amber, Great-Grandchildren; Alondra, Christopher, Shauna, Edward, Benjamin, Delphine and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by brothers Donald (Linda) Kryza and Robert (Carolyn) Kryza.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eleanor Kryza, husband Edward Gawrychowski, daughter Rosalia Marie Molett, sister Delores Vanchina, and brother Frank...

Survived by her son Thomas Gawrychowski, Grandchildren; John, Jamie and Amber, Great-Grandchildren; Alondra, Christopher, Shauna, Edward, Benjamin, Delphine and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by brothers Donald (Linda) Kryza and Robert (Carolyn) Kryza.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Eleanor Kryza, husband Edward Gawrychowski, daughter Rosalia Marie Molett, sister Delores Vanchina, and brother Frank Kryza Jr.

Delphine was devoted to her family, she was the glue that held everyone and everything together. She was a great cook who looked forward to Sunday dinners with her grandkids. She always took care of everyone else and was a very loving and caring person. Her hobbies were gardening, her yard was her pride and joy. She also enjoyed bowling and was on a bowling league. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she had a fantastic Christmas Village display that grew larger through the years. Delphine was an animal lover, she loved all 5 of her Chihuahua's. Delphine once won a husband calling contest in Utica for being the loudest husband caller. She loved life, and her family and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Visitation for Delphine will be held on Thursday September 14, 2017 at Resurrection Funeral Home 40800 Hayes Rd. Clinton Twp. MI 48038 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. Rosary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday September 15, 2017, she will lie in state at 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Our Lady Queen of Families the St. Clement Parish 25295 Van Dyke, Center Line, Michigan, 48015. Donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
